During those hours you will see Kazan, peaceful and quiet, all in historical buildings’ lights. A green tree in the Palace of Landlords, a fabulous view of the millions of colored fountain splashes, dancing to the music of the famous Tatar composers, a fairytale castle – The Puppet theatre, a big cooking pot on a slow fire – a new building for City registration office, and the biggest in Europe media-front of the stadium Arena boggles the imagination!
And at the end of this tour you will launch your “fortune paper lanterns” into the night sky. This tradition is oriental but lives in the modern Kazan. The higher the lantern goes the more chances your wish will have to come true!

For several years, the image of the city has changed beyond recognition. New bridges has been built, new modern cultural and administrative buildings have been created, monuments to famous historical personalities have been erected. During this city tour you will see everything for yourself and get acquainted with the most significant attractions of the city. The city will appear in two sides: historical – with small buildings and quiet alleys, and newly built – with squares and a modern well-developed embankment.
The city tour route starts with Obolentskiy-Nogotkov Square where, on the building of the National Art Galery, one can see the most famous Yoshkar-Ola attraction – “the donkey clock”.
Not far from that place, there is an unspoken symbol of the city – sculptural composition “Yoshkin Kot”. After walking along Chavain boulevard, you’ll find yourself on the Archangelic Quarter with the Annunciation Tower which is almost the exact replica of the Spasskaya Clock Tower in Moscow! Here you can find a corner of quietness and calmness – the Italian park with the monument to Signor Lorenzo Medici.
